History of “Our” Roll
There is great comfort in knowing that your cooking is a Delectable, treat full of comfort, relief & pleasure to those who relish in it. This is why we call it “Comfort Food”.
My family is Hungarian, and with my parents coming to America in 1957, we never missed a good home cooked Hungarian meal. We had all the Flavors of Hungary right here in America because my parents could cook. They entered this country with one suitcase each and tucked inside those suitcases were very special items that traveled across a very big ocean.
My Father brought religious items while my Mother stashed away an envelope of her Grandmother’s secret recipes (dating back to 1800’s). They consisted of Fresh Stuffed Cabbage, Chicken Paprikas, Stove Top Stuffed Peppers, Ham Hock Bean Soup with Homemade Noodles, Hungarian Gulyas, Hand Stretched. Hungarian Apple Strudel, breads, and so many more.
It is now time to share all these “Wonderful” Old World Recipes with our friends, families, and acquaintances, so we’ve created “Your Cabbage Connection” for everyone to enjoy delicious homemade food daily.
We’ve taken the Great Cabbage Roll of 1800 and paired it with the flavor of 2019. Delicious fresh pork starts off this incredible roll while spices and garlic complete its flavor. Please come join us in this great roll adventure, we guarantee you will enjoy the experience over and over again.
